God's very first question to man was, "Where are you?" This very moment you may have been joyous or sad; happy or maybe angry. Every passing moment God is interested in your closeness to Him. He is interested in your fellowship with Him as He was with Adam. That's why God asked Adam: Where are you? If you are far away from your Maker this time, then what's the meaning of your sojourn here on earth? What's the sense of it all? Are you movingly lost in this world --- inSatan's jungle?
Look around you if you want to see godlessness and satanism merging seamlessly into our culture and relationships. God the Spirit is wooing us to return to Him as what He did to Adam and Eve. The Father in Heaven, our Creator, even went into sending His only begotten Son to earth, Jesus Christ our Lord, to inform us of our reunion with our Maker by the avenue of faith. As a result, we now could have the salvation of our souls from hell-judgment. Eternal life in Heaven is made possible with Christ, our Forgiver!
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16.The biblical viewpoint is that God loves us and that He wants us to live forever in Paradise. However, He wants us to believe in Jesus Christ His Son and our Savior. He wants us to believe that Christ died for our sins as a Substitute. For without Christ, nothing can Father God do to us on account of His Holiness vis-à-vis with our sins.
Our Holy Father God cannot lay eyes on us on account of our sinfulness. "God cannot behold evil," says the Bible. To be forgiven, Jesus the Lord then nailed all our sins on His cross.
We just need to believe in all conscience and sincerity in His finished work at Calvary.
Believe in Jesus Christ the way the Apostle Paul or Mary Magdalene did, for Jesus is Everything--He is our Giver of Eternal Life.
Praise His Name!
I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. John 14:6
